What letter is the first key on the piano?

I learn songs from this youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/musicblueprints and the first note I see on the piano is a “C” I heard from people it’s a “A” but I don’t really know which one is first, and if it’s a “A” then why does that youtube channel’s videos piano have a “C” in the beginning and not a “A”?

When you have a real piano with 88 keys the first key (on the left side) is A.

Always remember that black keys are grouped by 2 and by 3.

When you go down one step from the lower (left) black key of 2 black keys group, you will have the C key.

P.S. Usually people start to learn keys from C and there are different instruments especially digital ones that start with C.
